2-Year Old Class
The stories, songs, games and art projects at Precious Harbor Kidz’s Two Year Old curriculum helps prepare your child for preschool by developing his/her understanding of new concepts, language, vocabulary and sensory motor skills.
Recognizing that this is a critical year in a child’s development, the program was developed based upon the input from prominent early childhood education experts to provide an expansive set of activities centered around milestones that are two year old specific. You wont need to worry about what your child should be learning, we do that for you!
3-5 Year old Class
Precious Harbor Kidz will specifically set out to meet the developmental needs of three and four year olds. Following the standards set by the leading early childhood eduction professional organization, this program will incorporate learning activities that focus on developing early-literacy and pre-writing skills.
The Early preschool program is designed for three year olds and the preschool program is designed for four year olds. Each program has its own set of learning objectives, activities and required books; however, they share the same program philosophy and requirements so that transitioning from early preschool to preschool is consistent for your child.
We plan to incorporate the latest in early childhood education research as well as the best standards from private and public programs across the country so your child will learn what he/she needs. The curriculum focuses on early-literacy and pre-writing skills to prepare your child for our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs. We perform on going assessments of your child’s progress throughout the year and conduct two parent-teacher conferences to discuss your child’s progress.
6-12 year old Class
School age kids will have a safe place to spend time before and after school. Kids can burn energy outside, spend time reading, get help with homework, grab a snack and meet new friends.
To engage your school age child, Precious Harbor Kidz will actively involve them in selecting themes and activities to complete throughout the year.
We provide reliable transportation to and from most local elementary schools, breakfast before school, an after school snack and fun interactive projects.
